The JAMS English-Language Arts/Humanities Departments would like to strongly encourage each incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th Grader to engage in summer reading.  

Reading during the summer break is not only a great way to relax and unwind, but also an opportunity for students to enhance their reading skills and broaden their horizons.  We hope you will choose books that are interesting to you, and your public libraries are a great resource. You can access a variety of popular and valuable resources below.

We hope you take this opportunity to explore different genres, discover new authors, and immerse yourself in the joy of reading.
